Squid Game’s creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, has revealed that there are two characters who are definitely going to be returning for Season 2 of the Netflix show.
It was revealed by Deadline that Gi-hun and the Front Man will definitely be coming back for Squid Game Season 2!
This was revealed during the outlet’s annual Contenders Television at Paramount Studios.
Two of the people at the event were Hwang himself and Squid Game actor Park Hae-soo, who played Cho Sang-woo in the Netflix hit series.

During the event, Hwang revealed that “Gi-hun for sure,” would be coming back for Season 2.
He then added: “He will be back, and I believe the Front Man will back too.”

He decides instead to put a stop to the brutal annual games he was a part of.
The Front Man, on the other hand, who’s played by Korean star Lee Byung-hun, is the one who was organising the games and overseeing everything.
It’s going to be really fascinating to see the two of them back in Season 2, and I’m pretty sure they’ll play important parts in the second season.
