It’s been revealed by JK Simmons that he’ll be playing J. Jonah Jameson in more MCU and Spider-Man movies moving forward which is fantastic news.\
There was a bit of a shock at the end of Spider-Man:: Far From Home when JK Simmons turned up as J. Jonah Jameson.
Simmons played the role in the original Spider-Man movies, and he was perfect for the role.
The fact that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios got him back to play the role in the latest movie.
Simmons recently teased during an interview with People TV that he might be returning as the character in future Spider-Man movies.
“I don’t know if I would use the word ‘expect’,” he admitted.
“When we signed on for the first movie we signed a contract to do two sequels as well.”

Simmons the went on to add: “That’s always a one-sided, well not always but in my case, a one-sided contract where you’re committed to do it but they’re not necessarily committed to use your character in the ensuing movies.
“It was great to have the opportunity as these things evolve to be one of the holdovers from the previous version.”
So in a nutshell, JK Simmons will play Jameson in the future Spider-Man and MCU movies if the filmmakers think he has a place in the story.
I would love to see more of this new Alex Jones version of Jameson in the Spider-Man movies.
