It’s been revealed that Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2 has officially gone into production as Sony Animation and we can’t wait to watch it.
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is easily one of the very best Spider-Man movies ever made.
It looked incredible, told a remarkable story and was the first Spider-Man movie to be lead by Miles Morales.
I think we can all safely say that Miles is going to be the future of Spider-Man moving forward.
It looks like fans really took to the character, and after the film was released people started reading Miles’ comics.
There have been rumours he might be brought over to the MCU and end up replacing Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.
Anyway, one of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2’s lead animators, Nick Kondo, revealed via Twitter that they’ve begun production on the movie already.

Kondo revealed this by simply tweeting: “First day on the job!”
He then accompanied this with a gif of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse sequel’s logo, which is super cool by the way.
Not much is known about what will happen in the movie.
However, we can assume that it’ll have something to do with the expansion and exploration of the Spider-Verse.
I also think that Miles Morales will be involved.
It would also be great if we could see (or hear) Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men in the movie.
