Spidey fans are worried that Spider-Man: No Way Home could see Zendaya’s MJ meeting her demise.
As reported by Comic Book, with the arrival of the new trailer, the film has offered some exciting glimpses of what’s to come.
But, fans have spotted a call back to previous Spider-Man films.

There’s a scene where MJ gets knocked off some scaffolding and is plummeting to the ground.
It has been a recurring theme across both the Raimi films, and the Amazing Spider-Man films, to have Spidey’s girlfriend falling off buildings.
Of course, in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy died after falling from a bell tower.
It left fans to theorise that MJ could be saved by Andrew Garfield’s incarnation of Spider-Man, given he couldn’t save Gwen:

Zendaya’s Marvel future is up in the air after this film, so it is possible that MJ could sadly die in No Way Home.
But, it would be so undeniably cool if Garfield’s Spidey’s first introduction is to swing in at the last minute and save her.
In either case, we can’t wait to see what happens when No Way Home opens in cinemas.
On a personal note, I really hope that MJ doesn’t die in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
