The trailer for Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2 was released and it revealed that the movie’s going to actually be called Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse – Part 1.
You can check out the movie’s incredible trailer for yourselves below.
What I really loved about this trailer was that it kept the exact same look and tone as the first movie. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is easily one of the best Spider-Man movies ever made.
I would argue that it’s one of the best comic book movies ever made. I’ve never seen a movie before that literally looked like it came straight off the page of a comic book.
Into The Spider-Verse was that movie and also the story was really gripping. Sony Animation then announced that they were making a sequel.

The movie’s trailer was released yesterday, and it revealed that this movie’s actually going to be the first part of two films. The movie is called Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse – Part 1, and the trailer also revealed that Miles Morales is going to be fighting Spider-Man 2099 in the film.
That version of Spider-Man was teased at the end of the first film and was voiced by Oscar Isaac. Isaac will be back as the character and he must have been very happy about that since he revealed not too long ago that he really wanted to voice the character again.
Spider-Man 2099, also known as Miguel O’Hara, is a brilliant Irish-Mexican geneticist living in Nueva York (a renamed New York City) in the year 2099. He attempts to recreate the abilities of the original Spider-Man in other people and later suffers a related accident that causes half of his DNA to be re-written with a spider’s genetic code.
It’s still not certain why Spider-Man 2099 would be fighting Miles Morales in this movie. We’re going to have to wait and see what’s actually going on in this movie.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse – Part 1 is going to be in US cinemas on October 7th, 2022.
