It was revealed by Snake Eyes’ producer, Lorenzo di Bonaventura that he did have an idea for a Snake Eyes sequel movie but it was rejected.
OK, so Snake Eyes was released not too long ago and it hasn’t been doing all that well at the box office.
I mean, it’s not easy to do well at the box office given what’s going on in the world at the moment.
But, even with muted expectations, the film performed poorly.
It was recently suggested by multiple outlets that a Snake Eyes sequel was looking very unlikely.
Well, Snake Eyes’ producer seems to have added fuel to that fire.
He revealed during a recent interview with UPROXX that he had an idea for a second film, but it was rejected by the studio.

It’s funny, there’s ten pages of one draft that got the tone exactly where I thought it should be. And I gave it to every director and every writer, and then they rejected it.
The Henry Golding-lead movie has only managed to make $33 million at the box office so far, which is very poor.
It’s also currently got a Rotten Tomatoes score of 38%, which is also not good.
However, that is slightly better than the scores the previous G.I. Joe movies got…
So, maybe that’s progress…
