So, we’re pretty darn sure now that the secret cameo everyone’s been talking about in WandaVision is going to be Sir Patrick Stewart. We are almost 100% sure that he’s the one all the actors have been teasing over the last few weeks, and we’ll explain why we believe this to be the case.
So, a few weeks back Elizabeth Olsen teased a ‘Luke Skywalker-esque’ cameo in WandaVision.
Granted, those words were kind of put in her mouth by the interviewer, but she did say “yes” when asked whether there was going to be a “Luke Skywalker-type cameo” in WandaVision.
However, that isn’t why I’m so sure that Sir Patrick Stewart is going to be the one to make an appearance in WandaVision.
The reason I believe Sir Patrick is coming to the MCU in this show is because of what Paul Bettany and Sir Patrick Stewart himself have said over the last few days and weeks.

Paul Bettany did reveal that he got to work with an actor he’s always wanted to work with his whole life. Here’s what he said exactly:
This is the theory that says that there’s some mysterious Avengers who’s going to appear in WandaVision and people seem to think that that mysterious Avenger is Doctor Strange. Truth is, of all the characters that we were trying to keep secret a lot of them got out through leaks. There is one character that has not been revealed and it is very exciting. It’s an actor that I’ve longed to work with all of my life. We have some amazing scenes together and the chemistry between us is I think extraordinary. It was just fireworks on set. So, I’m really excited for people to see that stuff.
He revealed that in a recent interview with Esquire. So, who’s this actor he’s talking about. Well, if we’re assuming that this cameo appearance is going to be from someone with a past the Marvel movies, then there are only really two people it could be: Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart.
Who else would Paul Bettany be desperate to work with?

A lot of people were really going with the Ian McKellen thing, but the problem is that Bettany has already worked with him on The Da Vinci Code, so that rules him out.
One actor Bettany has never worked with – and I checked this on IMDB, is Sir Patrick Stewart.
I’m also pretty certain that Bettany is a bit of a Star Trek nerd, so it would make sense for him to be excited to work with the man who played Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Also, the way the series is going, it would make almost too much sense for Charles Xavier to turn up to try and help solve Wanda’s problems.
He’s almost the only character in the Marvel canon who could really help.
Yes, I know that Sir Patrick said he spoke to Kevin Feige about reprising his Marvel role in the MCU and he turned him down.
However, actors lie all the time, and it’s not like he’s going to say: “Oh yes. I met with Kevin and I’m coming back as Charles in that Wanda…something show.”
