It’s been revealed that Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings is still at number one at the US box office which is impressive.
This news was revealed by Variety and it seems as though the whole Shang-Chi ‘experiment’ has paid off (looking at you, Bob Chapek).
The film has been out in cinemas now for quite some time, but it’s still been able to bring in an additional $13.3 million at the US box office.
That means that the movie is still in the number one spot at the box office over in the US.
The movie actually performed over expectations.
It was projected to make $12 million at the US box office.
Shang-Chi already claimed the pandemic-era record from Black Widow in the middle of the week, and with $196.5 million now in the bank, it’s days away from becoming the first domestic release since Bad Boys for Life to cross $200 million.
People are still going to watching Shang-Chi at the cinemas!

Shang-Chi‘s global box office taking now comes to $363 million.
It’s really starting to close in on Black Widow’s $378 million box office takings, which is very impressive indeed.
That said, Black Widow was estimated to have brought in an extra $125 million thanks to Premier Access on Disney Plus.
Therefore, Black Widow is still technically over $100 million ahead of Shang-Chi’s overall box office takings.
