It seems as though people are really loving Shadow And Bone Season 1 on Netflix and they’re, of course, asking themselves whether Season 2 will happen.
Well, we have some good news for you on that front.
It seems as though Netflix has already given Season 2 of Shadow And Bone the greenlight.
It was recently revealed that Shadow And Bone has been doing very well on Netflix ever since it was released on April 23rd.
It’s actually currently the most-watched show on the streaming service right now.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see the show end up becoming one of Netflix’s most-watched shows of 2021.
Well, it seems as though Netflix is very happy with the numbers it’s been doing on the platform.

So, what we’ve been told by our sources close to Netflix is that Season 2 of Shadow And Bone already got the greenlight before Season 1 was released.
That isn’t unusual as far as Netflix shows are concerned.
They tend to know whether a show will do well before its released.
They know how much interest there is in the show.
I was also told that Netflix was very happy with the show before it was released.
They see Shadow And Bone as their next big thing. Season 2 already got the go-ahead before they released the first season.
It seems as though Netflix is looking at Shadow And Bone as their Game Of Thrones.
At least, that’s what they’re hoping it could be.

So, what about Season 2’s release date?
Well, that’s a bit harder to predict as it seems as though the people involved in the project still don’t know yet.
We’re still working out when we can go into production for Season 2. It’ll happen sooner rather than later. Netflix is keen on getting Season 2 out around the same time in 2022. Will we hit that date? With COVID… who knows…
So, it sounds as though Netflix wants Season 2 of Shadow And Bone to be released in April 2022.
However, that date could be pushed due to the issues the pandemic has put in place.
That said, things do seem to be opening up now.

So, it’s all things go on Shadow And Bone as far as Netflix is concerned.
It looks like they have yet another winner on their hands.
This comes after the likes of Bridgerton, Lupin, The Queen’s Gambit, The Crown, The Umbrella Academy, Money Heist and Emily In Paris have done really well on the streaming platform in 2020 and 2021.
It’s been a good couple of years for these new Netflix originals.
