The movie was kind of perfect for both adults and kids alike. I pretty much loved everything about it, and now it’s director has revealed new details about the upcoming sequel.
André Øvredal directed the first movie, and he’s now working on the sequel and he seems very excited about it indeed. He spoke about the upcoming movie during a recent interview with ComicBook.com.

The director was then asked about which stories they might be adapting for the upcoming sequel, and he revealed that he couldn’t talk about that side of things. However, he did reveal that he’s really excited about it. You can see what he said below.
No, we can’t reveal that. I can’t, unfortunately. But no, we’re really playing with some new, wonderful stuff that I am very excited about where this sequel could go.
