Ryan Reynolds has offered the perfect response to the recent news that Deadpool 3 will be R-rated and set in the MCU. He delivered his response via his Twitter account.
It was revealed yesterday by Kevin Fegie during an interview with Collider that Deadpool 3 is going to be R-rated and will be set in the MCU. That was huge news because up until now, I wasn’t sure what would happen with that movie.
Some people were even suggesting that Marvel Studios wouldn’t make the film. I’m very happy to hear that the film will be set in the MCU, and it sounds like it’s going to be open the floodgates to more of these kinds of movies and TV shows in the MCU.

Here’s what Ryan Reynolds had to say about how he managed to convince Marvel to make Deadpool 3 R-rated and part of the MCU:
Full disclosure: I showed them Spiderman 1 & 2 and told them it was Deadpool 1 & 2. #Deadpool3
That would definitely get Marvel interested. However, Kevin Feige worked on those movies and I’m pretty sure he would recognize them should Reynolds screen the movies for him and the rest of Marvel’s big guns and tell them they are Deadpool 1 and 2. I love that image though.
