Ryan Reynolds made an appearance at Comic-Con Experience in Brazil and there was a rather scary accident in which the actor was almost crushed by fans.
He was there promoting his upcoming movie Free Guy and was going to talk in front of fans about the movie, however, things turned very quickly.
Reynolds was walking down to fans who were separated from the actor by a barricade, but as the actor approached the fans, it fell over, almost on Ryan and he jumped out of the way very quickly.
It could have ended up being rather nasty for the actor, and thankfully nobody was harmed during the incident.
Reynolds seemed to be worried about the fans and jumped back down to make sure they were alright.
Always the perfect gentleman, he then started shaking hands with the fans and taking photos with them.
Videos of the incident were pretty quickly shared on social media platforms including Twitter which is where I found them.

As for his upcoming movie, Free Guy, the trailer was released during the weekend, and it features him playing an NPC (non-playable character) in a video game and he becomes aware of his situation.
His character, simply called Guy, then starts to do whatever he wants within the game and it looks very interesting.
The movie also stars Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer, Taika Waititi and Stranger Things’ Joe Keery, and it looks like a whole load of fun.
I would describe it as a cross between Ready Player One and The Lego Movie, which a little bit of Deadpool’s humour in the mix.
The film will be hitting cinemas on July 1st, 2020 here in the UK.
