OK, so $3 million might sound like a lot to most of us – and it is. However, in Robert Pattinson and The Batman’s case, it really isn’t.
Also, if you compare that number to the amount that Marvel’s been paying its stars, then it turns into literal pocket change.
It was revealed by Variety that Robert Pattinson has earned himself $3 million for playing the lead in Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming The Batman movie.
Here’s what Variety wrote:
Robert Pattinson picked up $3 million for his turn in “The Batman,” a grittier take on the comic book icon.
The thing is, that’s all they said about it.
I’m not entirely sure whether this is the actual number Robert Pattinson’s getting for the movie.
I think that’s his baseline salary and because he’s also listed as a producer on the movie, he probably agreed on a contract that was based on how well the movie does at the box office.
Why is Robert Pattinson getting so ‘little’ for The Batman?

This would be a similar deal to the one Scarlett Johansson signed for Black Widow.
At the time, these deals seemed like a really good idea.
However, the pandemic has really thrown things through a loop, which is why Johansson sued Disney after they released Black Widow on Disney Plus.
It’s because it cut her potential profits in half – probably more!
Hopefully, by the time The Batman is released things will have gone back to some kind of normality.
If that’s the case, then Pattinson could earn a bucket load from this movie.
