Robert Pattinson has revealed that he really wants to play the Dark Knight in a Batman trilogy, which would be incredible if you ask us. He revealed this during an interview with Empire Magazine.

The movie is coming out pretty soon (COVID-19 rules allowing). It’s directed by Matt Reeves who also wrote the movie’s script. Here’s what Pattinson said when he was asked about the possibility of playing Bruce Wayne again after this upcoming movie:

I’ve made a kind of map for where Bruce’s psychology would grow over two more movies. I would love to do it.

We would also love to see Robert Pattinson get to play Bruce Wayne – aka Batman – in two more movies after this one coming up.

The Batman could end up being a trilogy if Robert Pattinson gets his way

This comes after we were told that Robert Pattinson has already signed on with Warner Bros. Pictures to star in more Batman films. It sounds as though Warner Bros. is really excited about this movie.

They might be looking at how well Spider-Man: No Way Home is doing in cinemas and hoping that their comic book movie could do the same or better numbers at the box office.

It’s going to be interesting to see what happens with cinemas in the future given the rise of Omicron cases across Europe and the US. Fingers crossed it all calms down when March 4th, 2022 comes around.

The Batman is set to be released in cinemas in the UK and in the US on March 4th, 2022.
