There are rumours that Disney is very keen on the idea of bringing Robert Downey Jr. into the Star Wars universe somehow.
What is Robert Downey Jr. up to these days?

However, it seems as though he might also be in discussions with Disney and Lucasfilm.
There are new reports courtesy of insider Daniel Ritchman who claims that Disney wants to bring the former Iron Man actor over to the Star Wars universe.
It’s not clear whether they’d want him for a movie or TV show.
However, according to these reports, they really want him involved in the Star Wars universe.

Now, this could be very interesting because there’s no questioning Robert Downey Jr.’s talent.
However, I just really see him as being part of the Star Wars universe.
He was a huge factor in making the MCU the success it is today.
However, does he really fit into the Star Wars universe?
I’m not so sure.
Who could he play? I don’t really see him as a Jedi or a Sith.
He could be some sort of political character.
That would be interesting.
