Rick And Morty Season 4’s UK Release Date Brought Forward

Rick and Morty Season 4’s UK release date was supposed to be in January 2020, but the executives as Channel 4 have been forced to push the date forward after intense fan pressure.

Rick and Morty Season 4’s new UK release date is November 20th, which means there’s only going to be two weeks in between the show airing in the US and the UK.

This is fantastic news because we were initially going to have to wait for quite a while over here in the UK, and now we’re only going to have to wait a few days.

“When we announced we would be airing Rick and Morty series 4 on free to air TV in January we thought fans would be delighted,” said Channel 4’s director of programmes Ian Katz (via Digital Spy).

“Instead they told us – in their droves – that it wasn’t nearly soon enough, so we’ve listened and brought forward the UK premiere to November 20 on E4 and All 4. Enjoy!”

I actually believe this is a first. It’s certainly the first time I’ve ever heard of a network pushing a release date forward due to fan demand.

It’s pretty crazy actually, but then again, it was pretty mad that viewers were going to have to wait for so long before the new season was going to make available to UK viewers.

I’m going to be honest, Rick and Morty’s release schedule has been a bit crazy over the years. The previous season was released on Netflix, but now we’re going to have to watch it on Channel 4 over here in the UK.

It’s all a bit strange, and I don’t know why it’s been done this way, but we’re going to have to make do.

The first episode of Rick and Morty premiered in the US last night, and I’m going to try and get a review over to you guys as soon as I can.

Rick and Morty Season 4 will be split into two parts, consisting of five episodes each.

Ian Katz, Director of Programmes at Channel 4, said: “Millions of fans have been waiting for more than two years for a new series of Rick and Morty, the most brilliantly bonkers show on television. We’re thrilled that it will be aired exclusively on Channel 4 and I promise it will be worth the wait.”

Rick and Morty season 4 will premiere on Wednesday, November 20th at 10pm on E4 and All 4. Fans in the US will be able to watch it on Adult Swim on Sundays.
