It’s no secret that the movie that was released back in 2016 was not the film he made.
Ayer made a much darker, very different movie.
When executives and investors over at Warner Bros. Pictures saw the movie, they panicked.
They thought it was too dark and too depressing and wanted something more like Deadpool.
This was revealed by Ayer himself pretty recently.
Well, the film that came out back in 2016 was terrible.
It was hands down one of the worst comic book movies made in recent times, and it was not Ayer’s fault.
It was all down to Warners and the fact that they got the company that edited the trailer to re-edit the movie.
What they delivered was a complete mess of a film.
It had multiple beginnings and felt more like many different music videos and trailers all put into one movie.
It was bad, and we now need to see the Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad so that we can all finally have closure.
Will the Ayer Cut ever be released?

Hopefully, AT&T will see this and step in yet again, just like they did when people were asking for Warners to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.
