Rambo: Last Blood’s First Trailer Has Arrived And It’s Brutal

The trailer for Rambo: Last Blood has landed and it features Sylvester Stallone is some very brutal action in what should be his last Rambo film.

Sylvester Stallone is back as Rambo in Rambo: Last Blood, which should be the best time he plays the iconic character he first brought to the big screen in Rambo: First Blood (or just First Blood).

Lionsgate has now released the first trailer for Last Blood and it looks pretty brutal. It’s not unlike a Home Alone movie, yet instead of Kevin McAllister, it’s Sylvester Stallone’s John J. Rambo setting the traps in his home, and his traps are a bit more deadly than Kevin’s.

Rambo’s also having to deal with some seriously bad dudes in Last Blood. Judging by the trailer it looks like it might have something to do with the Cartels.

The film will supposedly follow Rambo as he goes to Mexico to save a friend’s daughter who has been kidnapped by the Mexican cartel. However, it looks like they’ll follow him to his house and try to kill the former soldier, yet it doesn’t look like they really understand what they’re truly up against.

Stallone as Rambo on Rambo: Last Blood

According to the film’s official synopsis: “Rambo’s deeply troubled and wrestling with PTSD as he picks up casual work wherever he can.

“When long-time family friend and estate manager Maria informs Rambo that her grand-daughter has gone missing after crossing into Mexico for a party, he sets off with her to find the youngster.

“What ensues is a violent descent into hell as Rambo uncovers a sex-trafficking ring.

“He teams up with a journalist whose half-sister has also been kidnapped and must deploy all his skills to save the girls and bring down a vicious crime lord.”

Rambo: Last Blood was directed by Adrian Grunberg (Get the Gringo) from a script written by Stallone and Matt Cirulnick. The movie also stars Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega, Yvette Monreal, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Oscar Jaenadam, and Joaquín Cosío.
