It’s been revealed that Marvel Studios, after a long and difficult search, has finally found the person to play Galactus in the upcoming Fantastic Four MCU movie. His name is Ralph Ineson, and he’s a very talented British actor who has played a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before!
This news comes to us via The Hollywood Reporter, and I, for one, am really looking forward to seeing him play the role. The first thing you might know about the actor is that he has one of the best voices in Hollywood. Deep and rough, he has the perfect tone of voice to play a villain as threatening and frightening as Galactus.

Ineson has been one of the hardest actors working in Hollywood. You might know recognise his name straight away, but I’m pretty sure you would have heard his voice and seen his face before in a number of movies and TV shows over the years. He played William in the incredible horror movie The Witch (2015).
He also played Dagmer Cleftjaw in Game of Thrones (2012), Amycus Carrow in the final three Harry Potter films, Nikolai Tarakanov in the HBO historical drama miniseries Chernobyl (2019), the title character in The Green Knight (2021), and Cid in the video game Final Fantasy XVI (2023).
Javier Bardem might have been Marvel’s first choice for the role

There had been reports that Marvel Studios was trying to get Javier Bardem to accept the role. However, it seems as though he might have turned them down. Honestly, Bardem would have been great in the role, but I actually think that Ineson is better casting. His voice is so menacing, and I think he looks the part.
This is going to be a Marvel villain to remember, which is exactly what we need. He needs to be around and pulling the strings in the background of the MCU for quite some time. I’m so happy that Marvel has opted to cast the right man for the role and has not gone down casting the most famous name for the role.]
This isn’t Ralph Ineson’s first role in the MCU!

Interestingly enough, this won’t be Ineson’s first role in the MCU. He was also seen very briefly in James Gunn’s Guardians Of The Galaxy. It’s funny how this often happens.
