PS5’s Price Reportedly Revealed Via Amazon France Store Listing

It seems as though the PS5’s price has been revealed by an Amazon France store listing, which is often the case, and it’s not as expensive as we thought.

Ever since Sony unveiled the new PS5 at last week’s event, people have been trying to figure out how much it will cost us.

There were reports that the PS5 would end up costing around $600.

However, it seems as though that might not be the case.

There was a store listing on Amazon France (which I found via a Facebook post) which put the PS5’s price at €499.99.

So, it’ll end up coming just under €500, which isn’t too bad at all.

Honestly, this is how much it should cost and will hopefully mean that the machine will be a long-term success.

Thinking back to when they launched the PS3, they priced it far too high and it meant that the Xbox 360 ended up selling more because it was the cheaper console.

Seems as though the PS5’s price might not totally break the bank

Of course, it doesn’t all come down to price, but it is really important.

People want a console they can play the best and latest games on, but they also want something they can afford.

It’s also been revealed there will be two editions of the PS5.

One will come with an optical 4K Blu-ray disc drive and one without.

The one without is referred to as the PS5 ‘Digital Edition’ and I think that’s the one I’ll go for.

It’s rumoured that the Digital Edition will cost about €100 less.

This means it could be put on sale for €399.99.
