Pirates of the Caribbean 6’s producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, has finally opened up about whether Johnny Depp will play Captain Jack Sparrow in the movie.
There’s been so much talk about what’s happening with the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
We know that Disney wants to make the movie, however, we still don’t really know whether it’ll be a reboot or not.
There’s been a lot of talk about Johnny Depp returning as Jack Sparrow after the new developments in the whole Depp vs. Amber Heard case.
He was reportedly fired from the franchise after his ex-wife, Heard, claimed she was a victim of domestic abuse.
However, it looks like the tides might be turning and Pirates’ producer, Bruckheimer has opened up about the whole situation.

Here’s what Bruckheimer told Collider about the whole Johnny Depp situation in a recent interview:
The one we’re developing right now, we’re not sure quite what Johnny’s role is going to be. So, we’re going to have to see.
It does sound like Bruckheimer wants to bring Johnny Depp back into the franchise.
The two have a pretty long and successful working relationship.
I’m sure that he would jump at the chance of bringing Captain Jack Sparrow into the Pirates franchise.
