The petition on Change.org demanding that Amber Heard be fired as Mera from Aquaman 2 is now closing in on 2 million signatures, which will make it one of the most signed petitions on the platform.
I’m really not sure what Warner Bros. Pictures can do now other than get rid of Amber Heard from the upcoming Aquaman movie.
I know there have been reports that they are not taking this petition seriously, but once it hits two million signatures – which it will do by the way – it’ll be too big to ignore.
Yes, you can claim that it’s all bots and ‘paid campaigns’, as Heard put it, that are to blame.

Now, there have been reports that Heard was fired from the movie already.
The reports were also suggesting that Emilia Clarke had been brought in to replace Heard as Mera in the Aquaman sequel alongside Clarke’s Game Of Thrones co-star, Jason Momoa.
However, we reached out both Clarke and Heard’s publicists to ask for confirmation.
Clarke’s were strangely silent on the matter, however, Heard’s did come back to me and claim that the rumours Heard had been fired from the movie were false.
That said, a source I trust did tell me that her scenes are in the process of being drastically reduced in the movie.
We’ll just have to wait and see what happens in this ever-developing story.
