It’s now being rumoured that Patty Jenkins is very keen on getting both Gal Gadot and Chris Pine in her upcoming Star Wars movie, Rogue Squadron. This rumour comes from Daniel Richtman’s Patreon page.
According to the insider, Patty Jenkins really wants to cast her two main Wonder Woman stars in her Star Wars film. However, there’s no news on which roles she wants them for.
I do like the idea of Patty Jenkins bringing some actors over in the Star Wars franchise. It’s quite common for directors to want to work with the same actors. Christopher Nolan is a good example of this. He’s worked with the likes of Sir Michael Caine, Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy on multiple occasions.

It was announced that Patty Jenkins would be making a Star Wars Rogue Squadron movie at last week’s Disney Investor’s Day presentation. Jenkins then released a pretty cool teaser in which she revealed which Star Wars movie she was making and why. Here’s what she said in the teaser:
I love to move fast at speed of any kind. I think that’s because I grew up the daughter of a great fighter pilot, and every day I would wake up and go outside and look up, and I would see my father and his squadron take off in their F4s, roaring across the sky. It was the most thrilling thing that still I’ve experienced in my entire life. So when he lost his life in service to this country, it ignited a desire in me to turn all of that tragedy and thrill into one day making the greatest fighter pilot movie of all time. But try as I might, and look as I did, I couldn’t find the right story ever. I kept looking and looking, but I just couldn’t find the right one until now. Now I found a movie about two things I love.
