Ozark Season 3 has just landed on Netflix and people are already wondering – myself included – when Ozark Season 4’s release date will be on Netflix.
It’s easily one of Netflix’s most engrossing TV shows and it’s proven to be very popular on the streaming platform.
Ozark stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as a couple who end up having to relocate their family to the Ozarks to launder money for a Mexican drug cartel.
It’s really thrilling and Jason Bateman has even directed a number of the episodes, and I think he’s just as good behind the camera as he is in front of it.
Just in case you haven’t watched it yet (and you haven’t, then why not?), here’s the official synopsis of Ozark Season 3:
It’s six months later, the casino is up and running, but Marty and Wendy are fighting for control of the family’s destiny. Marty preaches keeping the status quo. Aided by an alliance with Helen and drug cartel leader Omar Navarro, Wendy plots for expansion. But when Wendy’s brother Ben comes into town, everyone’s lives are thrown into chaos.

The series has been nominated for two Golden Globes (both for Jason Bateman as Best Actor in a Television Series Drama).
It’s also been nominated for a bunch of Primetime Emmys. It’s been nominated for eight Emmys in total and Bateman won one of them for directing.
So, yes. It’s a pretty good show and one everyone should catch on Netflix.
Anyway, when will Ozark Season 4’s release date be on Netflix? That’s the question here.
Well, it looks like we won’t see another season of Ozark until 2022.

We could see it slightly earlier sometime n 2021.
However, with everything that’s going on *cough* Coronavirus *cough*, it looks like we’re going to have to wait a while.
There’s also the fact that both Jason Bateman and Laura Linney have very packed schedules at the moment.
Before making Season 3, Bateman did reveal that he wanted some time away from filmmaking to spend with his family.
He might feel the same way now with this whole Coronavirus pandemic.
That said, I wouldn’t worry about there not being a Season 4.
Back in April 2019, Ozark showrunner Chris Mundy told a Mulken Global Conference panel: “We’ve always talked about it as five seasons.
“It could be four, it could be seven … but that always seemed like a good number to us.”
Who will star in Season 4?

There’s also the fact that Ozark has proven to be very popular with critics and viewers alike.
The series has done pretty well for them at the Awards season. It’s always nominated for at least one of the big awards.
And as for who will star in Ozark Season 4, I’m pretty sure that Bateman and Linney will return as Marty and Wendy Byrde.
They should be joined by the likes of Sofia Hublitz as Charlotte Byrde, Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Byrde, and Julia Garner as Ruth Langmore.
