It’s been revealed that Outer Banks Season 2 was the most-streamed show last week across all streaming services: Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu and Amazon Prime Video.
This news was revealed by Deadline who reported that according to Nielsen’s streaming chart Outer Banks Season 2 is miles ahead of the competition.
The show was released last month and it’s still doing incredibly well with viewers across the globe.
That said, it did experience a 50% drop off in its numbers in its second week of release.
However, it still managed to collect an impressive 1.16 billion total minutes of viewing, down from 2.1 billion in the previous week.
The show that came in second place was All American, whose Netflix run began just after its third season had its linear finale on The CW. It pulled in 883 million minutes.

Vivo ended up coming in third place and the animated movie’s been doing pretty well on Netflix.
As for Outer Banks, it really does look like fans are just adoring this show.
We revealed last week that the third season is already in the works and should be released sometime in the middle of 2022.
We were also informed that scripts for Outer Banks Season 4 are also already being written.
That is very good news for Outer Banks fans because it means that Netflix truly believes in the show’s longevity.
