More Alien Vs Predator…? Yes, please! It’s being reported that a new AVP movie is in development, and we’re hearing that it’s being made for Hulu. This means that the movie should be released on Disney Plus in a number of territories outside of the United States. This news comes to us via Giant Freakin Robot.

Through our trusted and proven sources, we can report that a new Alien vs Predator movie is in development for Hulu. Hulu seems to be the premiere place for these popular science fiction franchises.
This sounds very, very exciting to me because, spoilers, I kind of love the AVP movies. Well, I say “movies”, I actually only really enjoyed the first movie. The first film was made by Paul W.S. Anderson, and I feel like it’s often overlooked when people talk about the best Alien movies ever made.

I think I might be something of a Paul W.S. Anderson apologist. I really feel like he’s an underrated director. He’s made the likes of Event Horizon, which is a movie I truly love. I also really enjoyed some of his other movies such as Mortal Kombat and the first Resident Evil movie. Yes, I feel like Anderson’s recent work hasn’t been brilliant, but I actually think that Alien Vs Predator was one of his better movies.
I also think the movie is much better than some of the other Alien and Predator movies that have been released since the original films were put on the big screen. I often say that AVP is the fourth best Alien movie and the third best Predator movie. Alien, Aliens, Prometheus and then AVP. As far as the Predator movies are concerned, I think that Predator is the best one, then Predators and then AVP. I don’t think Predator 2 is a better movie than AVP.

As far as AVP’s sequel’s concerned, I don’t think that movie is very good. It was called AVP: Requiem and it was directed by the Strause brothers (Colin and Greg), and I just think that the film was a bit average and it was also super, super dark. When I say “dark”, I mean that the movie seemed to have been shot in a tunnel with no lights. It’s really difficult to watch, and that might be one of the reasons why I struggle with that film.
As for the future of the Alien and Predator franchises, it does seem as though Disney is doing something pretty interesting with them. We’ve just seen Prey, which was a brilliant movie. We’re also going to see an Alien series on Hulu from Noah Hawley, which I’m very, very much looking forward to. It’s also being reported that Sir Ridley Scott’s going to get to make his own Alien series.

I would welcome any Predator movie especially a new AVP film. Also, I think having an Alien series would be great too. Maybe show their home planet and some of their history and some of their exploits on other planets. That would be great.
