Calling all Hannibal fans! It sounds like Hannibal Season 4 might actually happen over at Netflix!
It’s being reported that Netflix is interested in reviving the very popular Hannibal series, which would be incredible if this ends up happening.
This news comes to us via Giant Freakin Robot.
We’ve reached out to the folks over at Netflix for comment on this report, and they declined to comment.
I’ve also reached out to sources we’ve worked with in the past with close ties to the streaming service.
They have not been able to confirm whether Hannibal Season 4 is really being picked up by Netflix.
However, they also didn’t deny that this couldn’t be a possibility for the streaming service.
One insider we reached out to, did state the following:

However, the insider was keen to stress that they had no information about whether it was the case or not.
It would be an incredible thing to do given how popular the Hannibal TV show was and is on the platform.
The series was originally aired on NBC until its cancellation in 2015.
There were three seasons of Hannibal and the series was created by Bryan Fuller.
It starred Mads Mikkelsen and he was brilliant as the brilliant yet sinister Dr. Hannibal Lecter.
Hannibal also starred Hugh Dancy as Will Graham.

The show eventually became available to watch on Netflix and it ended up proving to be very popular with subscribers.
It’s almost as if the show got a second wind over at Netflix.
Fuller’s been very open about trying to get Hannibal Season 4 made for quite some time.
He’s been shopping the show around for what seems like years now – well, it actually has been years.
It seems as though he might have finally come to some sort of agreement with Netflix.

I personally think that Netflix would be the perfect place for a Hannibal Season 4.
They’ve been pretty good at picking up shows and giving fans of these series the endings they deserve.
Just look at what happened with Lucifer on Netflix, which ended up getting multiple seasons with the streamer.
