The new and first trailer for the upcoming Morbius film landed yesterday and it was pretty interesting and featured a special cameo which sent Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans a bit gaga.
The trailer ended with a post-credits scene of sorts and revealed that Michael Keaton’s Vulture will be turning up in the movie.
This is then all the proof MCU fans needed that these Sony Pictures movies do take place in the MCU, or are at least connected in some sort of way.
Vulture was in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is a bonified MCU movie, therefore, his appearance in Morbius must mean that this upcoming Spider-Man spinoff movie is also in the same cinematic universe.
However, it could be taking place in an alternate universe, a different, yet very similar strand of the multiverse.
That actually could be a possibility. However, I highly doubt that will be the case because then it’ll end up all being a bit too complicated.
So, does this mean Morbius is in the MCU?

Marvel fans ended up taking to Twitter after the trailer landed to post their excitement about Vulture being in Morbius.
Here are a few examples of fans losing their respective minds on Twitter.

I could post these sorts of Tweets all-day long, but I just don’t have that kind of time, and I’m pretty sure you guys get the message.
Fans are excited about this new development in the MCU and the Sony Pictures Spidey movies.
It means that we might have a future in which everything comes together. All the Marvel movies could be connected.
We know we’re getting the likes of the X-Men, The Fantastic Four and Deadpool coming back to Marvel.
Now, we might get to see Spider-Man’s most famous villains join the MCU and cause chaos.
Honestly, I think it’s the only way forward for Marvel and the MCU. Go big or go home.
What do you guys think? Did you like the Morbius trailer and are you looking forward to seeing Vulture in the movie?
