It’s called Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area and Netflix has just announced the show’s release date via new video that they’ve shared across all of their social media accounts.
The video not only gave us the release date and the series’ official title, but is also gave us a look at the show’s new mask.
If you’ll remember the original Spanish series, the people involved in the heist wore red boiler suits and Salvador Dali masks.
Well, it seems as those the ones pulling the heist in this new Korean version of the show will also be wearing read boiler suits.
However, their masks will be rather different and pretty creepy.
These masks are actually traditional Korean masks called Hahoe masks.
According to Netflix, the series will be set against the backdrop of two Koreas, creating a “Joint Economic Area” where the North and South are on the verge of a peaceful reunification.
