Mission Impossible 7 is gearing up to be one of the most interesting and anticipated action films of 2021, and I’m even more eager to see it now that they’ve just cast Nicholas Hoult in the movie.
I’ve said it time and time again, Mission: Impossible – Fallout was one of the best actions films I’ve ever seen. The only film which has come anywhere close was John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
I love watching Tom Cruise strut his stuff as Ethan Hunt in these movies, but the reason these movies are so good is also often due to the actors surrounding him.
For instance, one of the best things about Mission: Impossible – Fallout was Henry Cavill and his incredible moustache, which should go down as the most infamous moustache in cinema history.
Mission Impossible 7 will see Christopher McQuarrie return as the writer and director, and that’s a great thing because his recent movies in the franchise have been the best we’ve seen.
Fallout and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation were great, and it’s looking like the seventh film will be just as good, maybe even better.
It’s now just been revealed that British actor Nicholas Hoult has joined the movie’s cast, and that’s got me really pumped to see this film.

Hoult is a terrific actor, and I’m so glad McQuarrie has brought him into the movie.
The writer/director revealed this casting news via his Instagram account. Here’s what he wrote in full:
Say, @nicholashoult, care to raise a little hell?
This has me thinking that Hoult will play a villain in Mission Impossible 7 and I love that idea.
For a while, there were rumours that Hoult was up for the role of Batman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, and I’m glad that he’s got a big role in the next Mission Impossible movie.
