It’s been revealed that Mindhunter and Fringe star Anna Torv has been cast in the upcoming season of The Last Of Us on HBO.
This was revealed The Wrap and they also added that she’s been cast as Tess in the series.
Tess is a character from the original PlayStation video game that the series is based on.
Tess is described as “a smuggler and hardened survivor in a post-pandemic world.”
The Wrap’s article also mentioned that Torv’s role will be that of a recurring guest star.
This means that she should have quite a bit to do in the upcoming series.
Now, I haven’t played the second video game yet myself (I know, not good of me), however, I’m not sure if Tess is in it or not.
My gut is telling me that she isn’t, but you can correct me on that.

The series has already got a lot of talent attached to it.
We already knew that the series would star Pedro Pascal as Joel.
It was then revealed that Game Of Thrones’ Bella Ramsey has been cast as Ellie in the show.
Gabriel Luna and Nico Parker were also cast in the show.
The series was written by Chernobyl writer Craig Mazin and the game’s creator, Neil Druckmann.
