The DC Comics fans have spoken, and they’ve revealed that their favourite Batman of all time is none other than Michael Keaton, and you know what, I would agree with them. Keaton first played the iconic DC superhero in Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie, and he kind of changed the character forever. Before Keaton took on the role, Batman was a bit of a joke. Since he played the role, the Dark Knight has become one of the most recognisable comic book characters in pop culture.
This new poll was conducted by Ranker, and the rest of the results are really interesting. I would really suggest you go over to their site to see which actors came where in this new poll. However, the ones that I found to be the most interesting are Christian Bale coming in second, Kevin Conroy coming in third place, Adam West in fourth position, Robert Pattinson came in fifth place and then, rather oddly in my opinion, Ben Affleck came in sixth position.

I thought that Ben Affleck coming in sixth place was pretty harsh. I actually think that Affleck did a really good job as Batman. Granted, he wasn’t in the best Batman or DC movies ever made, but I felt that he was really well cast in the role. I would argue that he was in one of the best Batman fights ever put to screen in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and it’s a scene I keep on coming back to again and again. It reminded me a lot of the fight sequences in the Batman: Arkham video games, which I loved!
What would my best Batman actors list look like…?

Apart from that, I would agree that Michael Keaton’s version of Batman is the best we’ve ever seen. However, my top six Batman actors list would go like this:
- Michael Keaton
- Kevin Conroy
- Ben Affleck
- Robert Pattinson
- Christian Bale
- Adam West
That’s just my personal list, but I would love to know what your list of Batman actors would look like! I’m sure it’ll be very different to mine, and that’s perfectly fine. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and Batman actors can be very subjective and personal. I personally love Kevin Conroy’s version of the character because I grew up with the Batman animated series, and then I really fell in love with the Batman: Arkham video games.
