It’s been revealed Michael B. Jordan is currently in talks with Warner Bros. Pictures to direct the next Creed movie which would be Creed 3.
This news comes from Deadline who reports that Jordan and Warner Bros. are currently in talks.
If he were to get the directing gig for Creed 3 then it would end up being his directorial debut.
The Deadline report did focus on big box office films considering a streaming release, however, Creed 3 was mentioned in passing.
The report read: “Michael B Jordan is considering to direct.”
This seems to be an idea that’s been floating around for some time.
It might have come from the Rocky franchise producer Irwin Winkler, who wrote about it in his book A Life in Movies: Stories From 50 Years in Hollywood.

Here’s what Winkler wrote in his book:
I promised Michael B. Jordan that he’d get his chance to direct Creed 3. Last year in a conversation with our Creed star Michael B. Jordan, I offered him the opportunity to not only star in, but also to direct Creed 3.
Of course, this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
That said, if Jordan were offered the opportunity to direct Creed 3, I’m pretty sure he would say yes.
I would be a great way for him to get into directing.
