It’s now being reported that Marvel Studios is thinking of making a standalone Scarlet Witch movie in the not-so-distant future.
This report comes to us from We Got This Covered, who’s sources are saying that a Scarlet Witch movie is being discussed at Marvel.
WandaVision was the first time we heard Wanda Maximoff referenced as the Scarlet Witch.
It was Agatha Harkness that called her the Scarlet Witch, and by the end of the show, Wanda really was the Scarlet Witch from the comics.

Here’s what We Got This Covered’s sources revealed about Marvel thinking of making a Scarlet Witch solo movie starring Elizabeth Olsen:
We’ve now heard from our sources – the same ones who told us War Machine was getting his own series long before Armor Wars was confirmed – that the response to the MCU’s first episodic effort has been so overwhelmingly positive that talks have started behind the scenes over a potential Scarlet Witch standalone outing.
A Scarlet Witch movie would be such a good idea.
We’re going to see Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange 2, and it’ll be interesting to see what happens to her in that movie.
