Marvel is reportedly looking at Robert Rodriguez to direct their upcoming Deadpool 3 movie which Ryan Reynolds is working on as we speak.
This rumour comes to us from a source on 4Chan, therefore I would take this with a pinch of salt.
Anything that derives from a place like 4Chan tends to be utter rubbish.
I have asked around about this rumour, and no one’s been able to corroborate it for me.
The thing is, I would love the idea of a Deadpool 3 movie from Robert Rodriguez.
However, he’s pretty busy at the moment what with working on The Book Of Boba Fett and We Can Be Heroes 2.
He’s got a lot of stuff on, and I’m not sure whether he’d be able to fit in Deadpool 3 into his already over-packed schedule.
Could Robert Rodriguez be about to direct Deadpool 3?

However, let’s have a look at what the supposed ‘leaker’ on 4Chan had to say:
Deadpool 3 is looking for its title and Director. Title will be something creative while Marvel is interested in Robert Rodriguez, while Ryan Reynolds wants his Free Guy and Adam Project director Shawn Levy.
Now, I believe the idea of Ryan Reynolds wanting Shawn Levy to direct the movie.
That makes sense to me.
Levy is also a director who might actually be very interested in making the third Deadpool film.
Personally, I would much rather see Rodriguez make the film, but Reynolds might end up getting his reported wish to have Levy helm the project.
What do you make of this rumour?
Would you like to see Robert Rodriguez direct Deadpool 3?
