It’s being reported that director Fede Alvarez is Marvel Studios’ top choice to helm a Midnight Suns movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). As far as I’m concerned, this would be a terrific choice of director for the movie, which has been in the works for quite some time now.
It seems as though Marvel Studios has been working towards a Midnight Suns movie for quite some time now, and we might just be getting to the point where we finally get to see it on the big screen. I’ve always felt that the Midnight Suns is what Marvel should really focus on as far as the MCU is concerned.

This news comes to us via My Time To Shine Hello on X. She is a pretty well-known scooper these days, especially when it comes to Marvel scoops. She’s pretty much spot on when it comes to Marvel, which is why I’m so excited about this bit of news and why I’m reporting on it here on Small Screen.
As for Fede Alvarez, he is a terrific director. He’s made the likes of Don’t Breathe and the remake of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead movie. They’re both great films. He’s currently working on Alien: Romulus, which promises to be another great horror movie. Alvarez has cemented his place as one of the best horror directors out there. I think he would be an excellent choice for a Midnight Suns movie, which would have to be a horror film, given the source material.
Will Midnight Suns be R-rated?

I don’t think they could make a PG-13-rated Midnight Suns movie. They would have to make an R-rated, and I think that Marvel knows that, which is why they would look at a director like Alvarez. We also know that Marvel Studios is starting to look at making more R-rated movies. We’ve got Deadpool And Wolverine coming out, which will be R-rated. They are also in the process of making an R-rated Blade movie with Mahershala Ali starring.
What do you make of this news? Are you looking forward to watching a Midnight Suns movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)? Do you think that it would be a good movie for Marvel to make? We’d love to hear your thoughts.
