Here Are All The Movies Coming Out In Phase 4 Of The MCU And Their Release Dates

Marvel just announced at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con all the movies coming out in Phase 4 of the MCU, so here they all are.

Marvel announced a whole load of new films and TV series at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, and it was a pretty big deal for everyone there, and Marvel fans across the globe.

It was a pretty mad time during their Hall H Comic-Con panel thanks to all the bombshell announcements they made, and people were left eagerly awaiting the next few years of Marvel movies.

It was insanity and completely unexpected, so I thought it would be an excellent time to go over all the films and TV shows they announced for Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 and give their release dates.

I recently made a video detailing all the films and TV series coming out in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but I thought it would be fun to also write it all down, so that you can have the please of both viewing and reading about which films Marvel are going to release in the next three years.

Black Widow, The Eternals, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness (otherwise known as Doctor Strange 2), Thor: Love And Thunder (otherwise known as Thor 4) were just a few of the films they announced.

They also revealed the TV shows they’re going to be premiering on Disney + which will include the likes of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki and Hawkeye.

So much stuff to go over, so little time. So let’s get this show on the road. Sit back, relax, and enjoy this list of upcoming Marvel movies and you guys better get ready because it doesn’t look like this Marvel train is going to slow down any time soon.

Black Widow – May 1, 2020

They’re finally making a Black Widow movie, and this film will star, of course, Scarlett Johansson, and she’ll be joined by the likes of Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Rachel Weisz, David Harbour and O-T Fagbenle. The film will be directed by Cate Shortland and was written by Jac Schaeffer.

The Eternals – November 6, 2020

Chloe Zhao will be directing The Eternals film which boasts one of the most impressive casts ever seen in a Marvel movie. Just check this incredible cast out! Angelina Jolie (Thena), Richard Madden (Ikaris), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh (Sprite) and Don Lee (Gilgamesh).

6 Things That Will Happen In Stranger Things Season 3

There were also rumours that Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown will be in the film, but she wasn’t announced during the Comic-Con panel.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – February 12, 2021

Destin Daniel Cretton has been given the tough job of bringing Marvel’s Shang-Chi to the big screen, and there’s a lot to be excited about this film. Shang-Chi is being written by Dave Callaham and it will star Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tony Leung and Awkwafina.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness – May 7, 2021

Scott Derickson will return to direct the sequel to his first Doctor Strange movie, and this one easily has one of the best titles of any Marvel movie ever. It’ll be called Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

5 Best Movies In The Marvel Cinematic Universe (And The 5 Worst)

I love this title. It feels so ‘comic booky’ and I think that’s a great angle to take. Derrickson also revealed that it would be Marvel’s first scary movie. It’ll star Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen, which means that Scarlett Witch will have something to do in this film.

Thor: Love And Thunder – November 5, 2021

Thor: Love And Thunder. Another great title. This will be the fourth film in the Thor saga, and Taika Waititi’s second, after Thor: Ragnarok. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will return as Thor and Valkyrie, and they’ll be now joined by Natalie Portman as The Mighty Thor. Yes! There will be a female version of Thor in this movie.

Other Marvel Movies They Announced But With No Release Dates

These are the other movies that Marvel’s President, Kevin Feige, announced without offering release dates for any of them.

Blade

This is one of my most anticipated Marvel movies, especially since they’ve cast Mahershala Ali as the titular character. I’m just so happy to see that they’re bringing Blade and vampires back into the MCU.

Black Panther 2

Ryan Coogler will return to direct the sequel to Black Panther, but not much is known about where or when the film will be set, or who’ll be returning. That said, thanks to Kevin Feige we definitely know that there will be a second movie.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

James Gunn is returning to write and direct the third Guardians Of The Galaxy movie. Thank God. There was a moment where we didn’t think this would happen, but Disney finally thought better of their decision to fire Gunn from the movie.

Captain Marvel 2

All we know about this film is that it is in the pipeline. We don’t know who’ll direct it or who will write the picture. It’s pretty certain that Brie Larson will return as Captain Marvel, but that’s about all we know at present.
