Mark Ruffalo has revealed that he would love to star in a World War Hulk movie, and we think that Marvel Studios just had to go ahead and do it! He revealed this news during an interview which was reported by Freaky Zone News on Facebook.
There have been rumours for quite some time suggesting that Marvel Studios is looking at adapting the World War Hulk storyline for a future project. However, some people believe that this will never happen due to the rather complicated movie rights to do with the Hulk character.
It’s all to do with the fact that Universal Pictures still owns the movie rights to the Hulk character, and in order to make a Hulk film, Marvel Studios would have to try and work out some deal with the movie studio. Will that ever happen? Maybe. There have been some interesting signs pointing towards something happening between Marvel Studios and Universal Pictures in the not-so-distant future.

But, what’s World War Hulk all about? Well, it’s a comic book crossover storyline that ran through a self-titled limited series and various titles published by Marvel Comics back in 2007. The crossover storyline features the Hulk and many other Marvel Comics characters such as Nick Fury.
The series, which consists of five issues, was written by Greg Pag and the artwork was by John Romita Jr. There are also three other limited series, which are called: World War Hulk: Front Line, World War Hulk: Gamma Corps, and World War Hulk: X-Men.
The storyline also ran through several other Marvel Comics series and it’s proven to be very popular ever since the series began back in 2007. The comic book series’s plot tells the story of how Hulk ends up being tricked into going into space by the Illuminati and Nick Fury.
