Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker has gone through many changes over the years that Star Wars has been around.
Luke’s gone from being a whiny kid to a grumpy old Jedi living on a very secluded island.
However, one person who hasn’t really changed over the years is Mark Hamill. He just always seems to be smiling, and he loves talking about Star Wars.
The actor recently did a video for Omaze in which he was asked to react to his very first audition for Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: A New Hope.
Hamill revealed during the video that we, the fans, can enter the Omaze competition to be in with a chance of winning the prize of being flown over to LA to got to the Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’s premier and have dinner with Mark beforehand.
He also revealed that all the money raised will go to a charity called NAI.
In this video, Mark gets to react to his original audition to be in Star Wars and the actor interjects with some insightful and perfectly self-deprecating comments about his performance and the dialogue.

Mark also revealed in the video that this audition was the first time he met Harrison Ford and revealed he likes him immediately
He thought that Han Solo was going to be the lead character, and it wasn’t until he saw the title on the film’s script, that he realised he was playing the lead character, Luke Skywalker.
Hamill said: “I thought he was Captain America and I was Bucky.”
We all know that Luke died a very noble death in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but he will be back for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker.
He’ll probably be a Force Ghost in the final movie, but we still don’t know how he’ll come back exactly.
With Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker being the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga, it’s a safe bet that this will be the last time Mark Hamill will get to play Luke.
Mark finished off the video saying: “There wasn’t a day that we didn’t laugh a lot,” he said with a rye smile.
