Mad Max: Fury Road Sequel Reportedly Greenlit And Could Start Filming This Autumn

What’s going on with the Mad Max: Fury Road sequel? Well, we might finally know what’s happening with the upcoming sequel.

There have been reports that Mad Max: Fury Road’s sequel might have been greenlit by Warner Bros. Pictures.

It’s been a difficult road to this point, but according to Geeks WorldWide, George Miller and Warner Bros. Pictures have finally worked this out.

There are now reports that the legal disputes between Miller and Warner Bros. Pictures have come to an end.

This has now paved the way for them to get moving with Mad Max: Fury Road’s sequel.

First off, it’s reportedly going to be called Mad Max: The Wasteland and will begin shooting in Australia in autumn.

Before production on the upcoming Mad Max sequel, Miller will direct Three Thousand Years of Longing, starring Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton, starting this March.

Mad Max: Fury Road is the most recent entry in the Mad Max franchise.

All the movies in the franchise have been directed by George Miller.

The first and second Mad Max movies were great, but Mad Max’s third movie, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome wasn’t that great.

However, all the previous movies didn’t come anywhere close to Mad Max: Fury Road.

The fourth movie in the franchise was spectacular and became a worldwide hit.

It did well at the box office, performed well with audiences and critics and went on to win a whole load of awards.

It starred Tom Hardy as Max Rockatansky who’d been previously played by Mel Gibson.

Hardy was joined by Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa and Nicholas Hoult as Nux.

There are rumours that Hardy and Theron and will return to the Mad Max franchise.
