Idris Elba Reveals He’s Very Close To Getting A Luther Movie Made

It’s been revealed by Idris Elba that he’s getting very close to getting a Luther movie off the ground which is really exciting.

Idris Elba has been trying to get a Luther movie made for quite some time.

It was revealed that Luther Season 5 could very well be the show’s last.

Yet, that didn’t mean Idris Elba was never going to play the role again.

It was revealed that he’s been working hard behind the scenes trying to get the Luther movie off the ground.

He’s now revealed to Deadline that he’s very close to getting this Luther movie made.

Here’s what he told Deadline about the possible Luther film:

I’ve made it very clear that I’d like to see Luther come back as a film. And I can tell you this, that we are this close to making a film of Luther.

I would love to see this Luther film get off the ground and I know a lot fans of the show who would love to see Elba return to the role as well.

He’s so good as Luther and the show had some genuinely incredible moments.

Personally, I wasn’t too mad about Season 5.

However, with the right people involved and a good script, I’m pretty sure this film version of the show could be excellent.
