The release date for the upcoming Lupin Season 2 on Netflix has been revealed and it looks like we’re not going to have to wait very long.
According to Deadline, Lupin Season 2 will be released on Netflix on June 11th, so it’s coming out really, really soon,
This release date was also revealed in Lupin Season 2’s recent trailer, which you can watch right now, here.

Lupin Season 1 was a huge hit for Netflix.
The series stars the brilliant Omar Sy as Assane Diop.
Assane spent most of the first season trying to find out who framed his father.
His father was accused of stealing, and towards the end of the first season, Assane found out that Hubert Pelligrini (Hervé Pierre) was behind it all.
His father was Hubert’s driver and he pinned a burglary on him in order to get the insurance money. (Nice guy).

Well, Assane’s father ended up taking his own life whilst in prison.
Assane then dedicated his life to finding out the truth and ended up adopting the persona of Arsène Lupin – the Gentleman Burglar.
Lupin is a famous French character from literature.
He’s a bit of a cross between Robin Hood and Sherlock Holmes.
This second season of Lupin – or Part 2 – will see Assane become France’s most wanted man as he tries to save his son who’s been kidnapped.
