It was revealed that Lupin is looking like it’ll become the first French series on Netflix to be watched by over 70 million households in its first 28 days. This means that it’s managed to beat the English-language hit series Bridgerton (projected at 63M) and The Queen’s Gambit (62M actuals).
The show, which stars Omar Sy was released on January 8th and ended up becoming the very first French series to be on Netflix’s Top 10 list. It ended up occupying the number 1 spot in France and many other territories in Europe. Netflix reports it has also ranked No. 1 in Brazil, Vietnam, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Sweden and many other countries. Lupin is 93% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
