Lucifer Season 5 is going to be with us very soon, hopefully, and fans are desperate to know if Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) and Chloe Decker (Lauren German) will end up together at the end of the show.
Season 4 ended with Lucifer going back to Hell after his demon friends had a little revolt and tried to kidnap Linda Martin and Amenadiel’s child, Charlie.
So, Lucifer and Chloe’s relationship is in a state of flux, but he did tell her he loved her before going back down to Hell.
Tom Ellis and Lauren German were chatting to Entertainment Tonight about the upcoming season of Lucifer, and they had an awful lot to say about it.
Lauren started off by revealing what sort of state we find Chloe in at the beginning of this new season, and it sounds like she’s not in great shape.
Could Lucifer and Chloe get married in Season 5?

Here’s what she told Entertainment Tonight about Chloe’s state of mind at the beginning of Lucifer Season 4:
Season five picks up… Chloe is heartbroken but she’s trying to almost play it cool more or less with Maze. They’re going out, drinking a lot, they are dancing. But also, Maze is helping her as a bounty hunter at the LAPD. Chloe has no idea where Lucifer is. She’s heartbroken but has no idea how to show it.
She knows he left but doesn’t think he’s ever coming back. She’s not sure. She’s trying to drink her sorrows away and do her job and pound the booze to forget with Maze — and that is where season five picks up.
So, it sounds like Chloe’s going to have some stuff to sort out at the beginning of this upcoming season. Meanwhile, Tom Ellis also opened up about what Lucifer will be up to at the beginning of Season 5.
You find out a lot of stuff in the first episode actually about what Lucifer’s intentions are, so I’ll leave it at that as a tease,” he coyly shared, with German echoing his sentiments, “Yeah, it doesn’t take too long I think.
The British actor was then asked whether Lucifer and Chloe might get married in Season 5, and he didn’t flat out deny that would happen, which means that Lucifer Season 5 could finish with the two of them tieing the knot.
The eternal bachelor? Well, if it’s the right person, like it has been in my actual life. But yeah, who knows? Could the Devil get married? In the presence of God? We’ll see.
Lauren was then asked the same question, and she was just as coy about answering the questions directly, opting to wonder where the wedding would be held rather than giving a clear response.
I don’t know if there’s a wedding but I wonder where the wedding would be if there was.
However, she did reveal that Chloe is madly and deeply in love with Lucifer and even revealed that her character would say yes if Lucifer proposed to her.
Oh my god, are you kidding? No matter what she pretends she doesn’t want, immediate yes! Immediate yes. She is madly in love with him. I mean, Chloe is just madly in love with Lucifer, no doubt.
They even got onto the subject of babies during the interview with Entertainment Tonight, and that is a very interesting question indeed given that we now know heavenly beings can have children with mortals after Linda and Amenadiel had their child together.
So, Tom Ellis was asked about the possibility of Lucifer and Chloe having a child of their own, and he replied:
All of these things could happen. Lucifer did say to Amenadiel it’s really surprising that he hasn’t gotten someone pregnant. If Father blesses it, then maybe.
Ellis finished off the interview by revealed that Lucifer Season 5 will have a happy ending to Lucifer and Chloe’s love story, which just cements the idea that the two of them will end up getting married. Here’s what Ellis had to say on the matter:
“I think my favourite stories have always been stories that the message at the end is hope, and so we’re pushing towards that on this.
