It seems as though Netflix France’s Twitter account may have revealed when Lucifer Season 5’s release date will be on the streaming platform.
We’ve been waiting for what seems like ages for a Lucifer Season 5 release date announcement by Netflix.
That hasn’t happened, annoyingly, however, it looks like we might have something close to one now.
Netflix’s France Twitter account posted a tweet last week which seemed to tease that Lucifer Season 5 was going to be released very soon.
What they said (I’ve translated this myself) was the following:
“Do you feel the flames of Hell? Lucifer Season 5 is coming soon… (promise, we will give a date).”
This seems like we’re going to get Lucifer Season 5 pretty soon indeed.
Could Lucifer Season 5 be about to be released on Netflix?
Tu sens les flammes de l’Enfer ?
Lucifer saison 5 arrive bientôt… (promis, on donnera une date)

We already know that Lucifer Season 5 will be split into two parts. Netflix will release the first eight episodes of Season 5 first.
They’ll then post the eight remaining episodes sometime afterwards. This isn’t the first time they’ve done something like this.
The final season of Breaking Bad was also released in two parts. It seems to be becoming a more popular way of releasing seasons now.
Lucifer Season 5 might be the show’s last season. However, there have been rumours that Netflix wants to make a sixth season.
Yet, they’re having to negotiate with Warner Bros. Television since they still have the rights.
