Lucifer Season 5 is gearing up to be the TV event of the year, and it’s looking like things will really heat up in the show’s final season.
We already found out last week that Eve (played by Inbar Lavi) would be returning in Season 5.
When we first heard this report from Entertainment Weekly, we first thought that she might be back to cause some trouble.
However, what about the possibility of her returning into the picture to start a relationship with Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt).
The two of them shared a romance in Lucifer Season 4, yet Eve said she needed to leave to “find herself”.
This broke Maze’s heart, who really did fall hard for Eve.
She cared about her and wanted her to see how much she loved her.
With Eve returning into the picture, she could have figured out what she really wants, and that could end up being Maze.

“We are so excited to have Inbar back!” Lucifer showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson told Entertainment Weekly.
“Last we saw her, Eve broke Maze’s heart. Soooo… a reunion between our favourite demon and the original sinner should go smoothly, right?”
We know that Lucifer Season 5 will start off with Maze trying to get over her heartbreak.
She’ll end up confiding in her friend Chloe Decker (Lauren German) who’ll be suffering some similar heartbreak after Lucifer (Tom Ellis) returned to Hell.
“Both of them, based on where we left off in season 4, are in mourning in a way,” Brandt told Entertainment Weekly during a set visit back in October.
“I think they are leaning into each other. Maze is of course mourning Eve, and definitely Lucifer going back without her; Chloe’s lost her love. They’re kind of holding onto each other as girlfriends do.”
German added: “We’re both heartbroken together because I’m missing Lucifer and she doesn’t really admit it but Maze is heartbroken from Eve leaving. She’s trying to forget about that as well, so we are going through a work/party phase together [in] episode 1.”
