Lucifer Season 5 isn’t too far away now (or at least, I hope it’s not), and we Lucifer fans are desperate to know what’s going to happen between Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) and Chloe Decker (Lauren German).
The pair have been put in a rather difficult situation after Lucifer Season 4’s final which saw the Devil return to Hell after there was a bit of a demon uprising, and it means we don’t really know what’s going to happen between the two love birds.
What we do know is that they love each other, and they did admit as much in the final episode of Lucifer Season 4, which was a bittersweet moment because the Devil ending up flying back down to Hell.
Tom Ellis and Lauren German recently did an interview with Entertainment Tonight and they had a lot to discuss regarding the final season of Lucifer (Season 5) which should be coming out on Netflix at some point next year.
This was when German got onto the subject of her character’s state of mind in Season 5, and it sounds like she will be doing her very best to get over Lucifer.
How will Chloe cope with her heartbreak in Lucifer Season 5?

Here’s what German had to say on Chloe’s state of mind and how she’s going to try to deal with her heartbreak:
Season five picks up… Chloe is heartbroken but she’s trying to almost play it cool more or less with Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). They’re going out, drinking a lot, they are dancing. But also, Maze is helping her as a bounty hunter at the LAPD. Chloe has no idea where Lucifer is. She’s heartbroken but has no idea how to show it.
However, German had a little bit more to say about what Chloe’s going to get up to in Lucifer Season 5:
She knows he left but doesn’t think he’s ever coming back. She’s not sure. She’s trying to drink her sorrows away and do her job and pound the booze to forget with Maze – and that is where season five picks up.
It really does sound as if Chloe’s going to be in an unbearably difficult situation after Lucifer leaves her to go back to Hell to ensure the demons don’t return to try and take Lisa and Amenadiel’s child, Charlie.
