So, Lucifer Season 5 is just around the corner and fans of the show – of which I am one – are desperate to know how it’ll end.
There are a plethora of fan theories online, but now the showrunners themselves might have spoiled the ending.
There was a special Q&A held on Instagram back in November which featured Tom Ellis and Lucifer Season 5’s showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson.
During this Q&A one of the fans asked whether Chloe Decker (played by Lauren German) could end up being an angel.
Henderson then joked that German already is an angel.
However, Ildy Modrovich’s answer to the question got fans excited.
The showrunner said: “Can we say that we’re going to explore it in season five?”
Yet, it was a little bit later on during the Q&A when the showrunners dropped and even bigger clue.
One fan asked whether Chloe might attempt to rescue Lucifer from Hell.
Could Chloe really be an angel?

The end of Lucifer Season 4 ended with Lucifer having to reclaim his throne in Hell.
It all happened after there was a demon rebellion and they tried to kidnap Dr, Linda Martin and Amenadiel’s baby son.
They wanted him to be the new ruler of Hell, which he could technically be because he’s a descendant of God.
Many fans have been pretty much positive that Chloe will have a hand in bringing Lucifer back to Earth in Season 5.
In response to the fans’ question, Tom Ellis nervously said: “Well how on earth would she do that? It’s a ridiculous question.”
That was when Modrovichthen jumped in and added: “Unless she was an angel?”
So, could Lucifer Season 5 reveal that Chloe Decker is in fact an angel?
