Loki’s official release date has been revealed by Marvel Studios in a recent blog post on their website. The film is going to star Tom Hiddleston as Loki, the character he played so well in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Here’s what Marvel Studios said about Loki’s official release date:
Ahead of this morning’s Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, Disney+ unveiled the release date for Marvel Studios’ Loki, along with their slate of spring and summer releases. The Tom Hiddleston-led series will premiere on Disney+ this June 11!
This means that we really don’t have to wait all that long before we get to watch the premiere episode of Loki. Before that, we’re going to get The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, so there is a lot of MCU stuff to look forward to!

Here’s Loki’s official synopsis courtesy of Marvel Studios:
Loki features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer.
This series is the Marvel Studios show I am the most looking forward to. WandaVision’s been great and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier seems pretty cool. However, Loki is the one I think will be really different. That said, WandaVision’s been pretty different from the rest of the content we’ve seen in the MCU.
