Marvel Studios takes to Twitter to drop the date for Loki Season 2’s release on Disney Plus. The post indicates that the second season starts on October 6, 2023, with the added information that the MCU’s new series ECHO gets all its episodes delivered on November 29th.
The tweet now has 12.8K Retweets, 5,220 Quotes, 57.3K Likes and 1,119 Bookmarks and still growing. Needless to say, the post is generating positive reactions as fans will soon get to see Loki pick up where he was left off. And that is destroying the Sacred Timeline weakening the fabric protecting the multiverse.
Marvel seems to want to keep Jonathan Majors as Kang in the MCU for the moment. That is, as they await the official court decision before considering a recast, he is still part of the series as Victor Timely. It is expected that the season will aim to restore the broken Sacred Timeline; however, given that it is Loki, there is just an infinite number of possibilities on how it can go wrong.
Burdened by yet another glorious purpose, perhaps more dangerous this time, Loki will embark on another series of adventures with Mobius in the hopes of rectifying and cleaning up his mess before anything else gets worse. To do that, they might probably need another He Who Remains at the end of time.

Only four months to go before we get to see what has truly become of the TVA. The officially announced release date is actually months later than expected since last year.
Of course, that was a time before Bob Iger gave the mandate to focus on quality instead of quantity in all of Disney’s movie production studios. Marvel has done comparatively so much in a shorter time for Phase 4 than its other Phases. Studio President Kevin Feige also disclosed that they would be spacing out releases of new content.
It is interesting to note that they are releasing the ECHO series all on one date. The strategy encourages viewers to binge-watch the series that spun off from the Hawkeye series. Quite possibly, the new series starring Alaqua Cox would bridge Daredevil before he fully leaps into the MCU with his own supersized series.
